KATYA'S TEACHING APPROACH

Katya’s teaching is rooted in the Russian conservatory tradition, in which she was trained from childhood through the Moscow State Conservatory. Rather than following a single standardized method, she develops an individual program for each student.

Lessons integrate technical development, tone production, music reading, interpretation, repertoire, ensemble skills, and independent musicianship.

Especially well suited for students who are ready to move beyond method-based instruction or prepare for auditions, youth orchestra, All-State, advanced study, or college.
